Hermila Galindo is famous for being one of the first and most important feminists in Mexico. Between 1915 and 1919 she joined the constitutionalist ranks of the Mexican Revolution and sought social development of women. She made several diplomatic trips abroad where she demonstrated the importance of female self-sufficiency, encouraging all women to claim their rights.
