Originally launched in 2017, this collection is inspired by the Swedish word ström, which means 'to flow continuously in a certain direction'. Paulina Villalpando, the brand's founder and designer wanted to create a collection that reminded her of how important it is to flow and to adapt to life's challenges and changes. 'In the summer of 2017, when I was in Sweden, I learnt that a close friend had passed away in a car accident. Being in the middle of the forest made me feel powerless and reminded me of how important it is to be resilient and to just flow', she said. The pieces are handmade in Mexico City in solid sterling silver and 14k gold vermeil. The designs allude to fishing rods and aquatic elements and clearly contrast with previous collections in which Paulina focused on geometric forms.
