April Birthstone: Diamond

Every month has a birthstone and those born in April are lucky to have diamonds as their stone. According to the American Gem Society, diamonds are the hardest gemstone and are made of just one element: carbon. It is no coincidence that astrologysts believe diamonds attract abundance, strength, power and courage, and increase feelings of self-respect and love, and promote relationships full of pure love. After all, diamonds come straight out of deep Earth.
