Our founder, Paulina Villalpando, created PAAR in the summer of 2003, at just seventeen years old. With a few tools, a handful of stones, and a clear intention, she set out to create jewelry that meant something. Guided by her love for design and her belief that beauty and responsibility can—and should—coexist, her personal project evolved into a fine jewelry brand rooted in values that still guide every decision today: sustainability, craftsmanship, and emotional connection.
For over two decades, we have partnered exclusively with a family-owned workshop in the heart of Mexico City. Every PAAR piece is handmade by master artisans whose expertise has been honed over generations—guided by precision, patience, and the kind of quiet mastery only time can teach. Our team of incredible craftspeople help us shape a more considered, meaningful form of luxury.
At PAAR, every design begins with intention
Many of our pieces are crafted from recycled gold and reclaimed gemstones, honoring both the planet and the stories materials carry. We offer custom design, heirloom transformation, and repair services—because we believe jewelry should endure, evolving with you and passing meaning from one generation to the next.
Our aesthetic is minimal but warm. Timeless, but never rigid. We are inspired by architecture, art, balance, and the power of human stories—each piece is a reflection of those influences. Our forms symbolize harmony, femininity, and transformation—values we return to again and again.
Our team is based between Mexico City and London, with clients across the world. We’ve been lucky to be featured in publications like Vogue, Nylon, L’Officiel, Forbes, and Elle, but what matters most is the connection we build with every person who wears our pieces.
